Northern Districts Cricket - Events Assistant

Fixed Term 6 Month Contract

With a full international and domestic schedule allocated for the coming cricket season we require the services of an enthusiastic person with initiative.

Reporting to the Administration/Operations Manager you'll need to be strong and physically fit as this job demands heavy lifting (eg. moving signage around the boundary and transporting it to other venues).  We are looking for someone who is well organised as you will be involved with assisting in the co-ordination of all events and liaising with contractors. For games you will be assisting our teams with their hydration requirements and acting as the player liaison officer during International matches and assisting in the change room.   Occasionally you will be asked to run the electronic scoreboard so knowledge of cricket is highly desirable.

Competencies would include:

·Strong work ethic

·An ability to work flexible hours

·Ability to "think on your feet"

A full position description can be obtained by emailing alayne@ndca.co.nz.

Applications close Friday 1st September 2017. A CV must accompany an application and should be addressed to:

Alayne Duthie, Northern Districts Cricket, PO Box 1347, Hamilton 3240 or emailed to alayne@ndca.co.nz
