Northern Districts (ND) is one of six Major Associations that make up New Zealand Cricket. ND is an inclusive and flexible employer which is focused to develop great people and grow professional skillsets. We take great pride in the vision “Connecting People, Creating Memories” which is supported by three core values; ‘Stronger Together’, ‘Build on Our Foundations’ and ‘Play Our Way’. With three international venues across the region (Cobham Oval, Seddon Park and Bay Oval), the staffing team is based across various locations inclusive of the primary office at Seddon Park and other regional offices in Tauranga/Whangarei/Gisborne, as well as remotely. Our flagship teams are Northern Districts, Northern Brave and Northern Maori, with the regional ‘heartbeat’ through our community game and participants.

ND Culture
We are a fun and dedicated team which love coming to ‘work' every day. We are people which are passionate about our purpose which support and encourage each other to challenge the status quo/disrupt the edges, be innovative and strive to achieve new heights.

About the Role
Northern Districts is recruiting for fun and energetic people to join the organisation as Development Activators across three separate locations; Counties Manukau, Waikato and Bay of Plenty. Development Activators will deliver fun, high energy and inclusive cricket sessions with a ‘whole of community’ approach and will have the confidence and ability to connect with people of all ages, cultures, and abilities. Programmes are delivered both during the school day or at an after school/evening Hub, so flexible working hours/days are required.
